Our Wine Cellar

As promised, I am posting about the wine cellar project Urban Cowboy was working on all month and finished this weekend. How pretentious are we? We call our basement storage a wine cellar now. LOL

The pics say it all 'cause I was smart and labeled them. Don't mind the fact the inside of the closet is not painted - I wanted a more rustic look to it. Oh, and I'm lazy and busy doing other things these days. Also, don't mind the random plants on the floor. They need a dark, dry, cool place to hang out until it's time to prep them for spring planting.
Urban Cowboy did a great job and I'm so excited about this project! The new shelves are sturdy and easily accessible and it's fun to open the closet door and see our wine collection properly stored! And, pulling all of the original shelves and stuff out of the closet forced a major reorganization which was very good thing, too.

there's no way that much wine would sit around in my house untouched. i have a wine rack that holds four bottles. i'll fill it and days later it will be empty.....for months. it's been empty for a year now.....
but now i know where to go when i'm having a bad day and am thirsty....
