A little cheese with your wine?

I am so excited because in 2 days Urban Cowboy and I leave to spend 5 glorious days in California Wine Country. We're going to Napa Valley to just chillax. Neither of us have ever been so far west in the country (or world, for that matter) and we got the tickets, hotel, and car rental for dirt cheap so it was an opportunity we just couldn't pass up! I have had the travel bug in a bad way for over a year now so getting to take two major trips in six months is absolutely the best thing ever! Ok, maybe not ever since I did just get married this year and earned my graduate degree and those are two best things ever ... let's just say this trip (along with all my other trips in my life) are high on the list of "lifetime favorites"! I love to travel and see new places and meet new people. So does Urban Cowboy. Too bad he doesn't get 20 paid days vacation (not including the paid time off I get between Christmas Eve and New Years day) like I do! We know some people who've been to Napa Valley and they've compiled lists of winerys they recommend. We can't wait to check them out and report back! And, on Sunday while we're there, an art show I'm interested in viewing opens at a local gallery so we're going to that, too. Not to mention, neither of us have ever seen a Redwood tree or the Pacific Ocean, both of which we're definitely going to make time to do while we're in good ol' Cali. OOOooooo! I am so, So, SO excited for this trip!
