Iced Tea Habits

Lately ... like over the past year ... I have noticed something new about myself. I now prefer to drink my iced tea unsweetened or with very little sugar and I now prefer to drink my iced tea diluted with water. I really enjoy a GE-brand iced tea flavor, Green Tea with Honey and a kiss of mint, but I only drink about 1/4 of the bottle at a time and dilute that 1/4 with water. I tend to drink this in 16 oz. glasses so that means I'm drinking 12 oz. water and 2 oz. ice tea. Weird. In my previous life, I didn't drink iced tea unless it was practically syrup thick with sweetener. So, I'm wondering what this means? Does it mean I'm getting older and this is what happens to old people taste buds? Does it mean that since I no longer consume soda and have diligently tried to minimize my High Fructose Corn Syrup consumption that my body has been trained out of "sweeter is always better"? I don't know what my newly preferred iced tea consumption habits mean but I do think they're interesting to ponder.

I get those iced tea packets that you add to bottled water. I add it in & shake it up. Then, I put ice cubes in a glass* & pour in half of the mixed iced tea & half water. I have to add water to my juice too (on the rare occasions that I drink juice).

*I noticed ppl now-a-days forget that iced tea should have ICE?!?! Whenever I order it somewhere, there's no ice in it?!

Yeah, iced tea should have ice! Except, you'll laugh at this, whenever I order it I do order light ice. I want some tea flavor by the time I get to the end, you know!
