It's almost that time of year ... Lent is rapidly approaching with Fat Tuesday on March 8. What will I give up for Lent this year? Last year, I didn't give up anything. I felt (wrongly so in Jesus' eyes, I imagine) that I had already given up so much at that point considering Urban Cowbaby's pre-1 year old personality, his sleeping issues, and my inability to consume dairy products as a result of Urban Cowbaby's dairy intolerance...now, looking back, it doesn't seem like I had given up so much after all. This year, I resolve to do better and make some sacrifices. Typically, I give up 1 external thing and 1 internal thing and I plan to do the same this year. I never reveal my internal thing but I'm happy to reveal my external sacrifice - if only I could decide what it is going to be.
The list of options include:
- Starbucks
- TV
- 30 min. a day designated for some type of exercise
I thought of a few others but they were lame so this is my official list to choose from. I think the exercise one would be the most difficult for me. I guess I'll let you know in about a week. :-)

You should do the exercise one, b/c you were just saying how you were exhausted & maybe it'll give you more energy?
